Short Month

Where to start...
I was hoping this would be the longest month of my life, but it has flown by incredibly fast (as I was afraid it would). The calendar in my head relentlessly reminds me how soon the 1st is coming. Like I said before- I wish the calendar would just skip over August and go straight into September. But I don't think I'm going to get that wish.
This summer has been amazing, and it's all thanks to you. There were definitely moments that I'm going to replay in my head innumerable times. If I could change anything about this summer I'd only consider 1 thing being different, and that would be that I had the guts to tell you how I felt sooner. And though I'm going to miss you so, so much, I in no way regret the time I got to spend with you. It was completely worth it, and it may sound strange but I'm glad I'm going to miss you this much.
Though distances and lack-of-communication might put things on slow-mo, I definitely don't want them to stop. I suppose we finally need to have part 2 of a conversation we started a while ago and let "simmer". So that's all I'll say about that for now.
I am very proud and thankful that I know you. The more I get to know you, the more you amaze me. I guess what I'm saying is- Thank-you for letting me know you, and for letting me take up so much of your precious summertime here.
